I was behind one of these on the road for a while today. I quite like the color and it works perfectly the shape. In fact, these may have the least-offensive design of any Toyota car right now. If gas were to shoot back up and I had to have a Prius, this would be the one. Hopefully they don’t beat it to death with the ugly stick when the next generation comes like they did with the standard Prius. Potato pic of the one I was behind makes it obvious why I used the stock image.

I still like the Prius C. Seems to be the most “honest” of the three. kool kolorz, smaller hatchback, under 20k, whose emphasis is just being fuel efficient and nothing more. Prius V is gigantic and the new Prius will go down as the ugliest car of this decade, at best.

I’m still amazed as to how quickly the price of these shoots up when you start looking at option packages. I’ll admit I looked at one as a possible JSW TDI replacement as its about the same size.

I quite like that color. It works well on a lot of cars. I also really like the wattage new 4runner looks, and I wonder what it would look like in that color.

Having grown up in an economically-depressed town in Western PA, brown cars still just remind me of the malaise-era iron of my youth. No thanks.

Don’t worry, I don’t think it’ll get a redesign - as I understand, it doesn’t sell that well here, and everywhere else, it overlaps heavily with the Verso. My prediction is that in the rest of the world, it’ll be replaced with the Verso in a hybrid variant when the next generation of the Verso comes out, and in the US market, Toyota will position the RAV4 Hybrid as its replacement (even though it isn’t really a direct replacement), maybe making a FWD-only model to boost fuel economy and lower the entry price (the NX 300h has one, and is the same basic vehicle).

One of my co-workers has a C. He had that obnoxious blue, but totaled it (high-centered on a stump, bent the unibody) and couldn’t find another one in that color locally so now he drives a white one. I like the design enough, but I like the V better personally. Also, the C really is painfully slow. I’d rather trade a few MPG for a 0-60 under 10 seconds.

Yep, they can get pricey. Discounts on the higher trims seem OK right now since gas is low, though.

Yeah I will probably feel dirty when I test drive it just to make sure but I am likely going to a cx5 instead.

Gotcha... I was looking for a color on the 4Runner called wattage now I get you meant Walnut 4Runner. I’m cool with the new Sandstorm color on the TRD Pro. I haven’t seen one in person yet, but someone down the street from me just bought a 2016 Taco in Sandstorm and it is amazing.

I wish the facelifted CX-5 had been out last year when I was shopping. The base with the manual was just too cheap feeling for me, but it looks like upgraded the interior a bit. I’d say just join me on team Forester, but it looks like you prioritize MPG’s a little more than I do coming from a TDI.
